The Sustainability Book Club met on November 6 to review The American Way of Eating: Undercover at Walmart, Applebee’s, Farm Fields and the Dinner Table by Tracie McMillan. The group had a lively discussion about what the author discovered behind the scenes while working in food-related jobs. Her experience as a farm worker was especially enlightening! Members described the book as engaging, informative and inspiring.
