Bread Riot Joins MLK Celebration in Salisbury

Board members and volunteers participated in the MLK parade on Saturday, January 13.

Bread Riot joined the Salisbury-Rowan community once again to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in the annual parade in downtown Salisbury on Saturday, January 13.

The truck was all decked out for the festivities, and board members handed out sweet treats along the route from Church Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

Everyone gathered at the Salisbury Civic Center afterward for the Community Resource Fair, which had lots of giveaways, food and entertainment. It was nice to see all the people there and along the parade route!
