The Summer 2023 edition of Salisbury the Magazine, on newsstands now, features an in-depth look at Bread Riot, from the early days to our current programs. Writer Andie Foley focuses on the group’s mission to link farms to tables by supporting small farmers and providing access to locally produced foods throughout the community.

With a host of information and statistics, Foley shows the specific needs in our community and describes how Bread Riot programs impact local residents and bolster the local economy. Both Bread Riot members and area farmers offered their insight and experiences for the article. Accompanying the text are photographer Sean Meyers' beautiful shots of the Salisbury Farmers Market, which fill the pages with color and personality.
